I spend hours daily in my grow room and have been feeling nauseous more often. Someone suggested terpenes and ambient cannabinoids could be connected to CHS. Is this actually possible?

This is underresearched but relevant. There are anecdotal reports of CHS-like symptoms in people with heavy occupational cannabis exposure. Terpenes and cannabinoids can be absorbed through the respiratory tract even from ambient air in a grow environment.

I grow too and have had similar concerns. I wear a respirator now when spending extended time in the grow room. The science on airborne cannabinoid absorption is limited but it seems like a reasonable precaution.

I developed CHS and my husband is a grower. Hard to know if grow room exposure contributed but my symptoms improved after we moved the operation to a separate detached building. Anecdotal but meaningful to me.
