    A huge part of the problem is lack of awareness. Most dispensaries do not mention CHS at all. Cannabis is marketed as universally safe, so people do not connect symptoms to habits until they have had multiple severe episodes.

    Absolutely they should. The evidence for CHS has been accumulating for years and is now well established. Selling a product without disclosing a known serious health risk is not acceptable in any industry.

    Recovery support really matters. Therapy was incredibly helpful for addressing the underlying reasons I was using so heavily. If you are struggling to quit, please seek support. It is not weakness, it is the smart thing to do.

    I tried cutting back instead of quitting and it did not work. Episodes kept returning. Only after 3 full cannabis-free months was I truly symptom free. Hardest thing I ever did but absolutely worth it.
